Since we’re going to be working closely together soon let me introduce myself. I’m Timothy Ting but you can call me Coach Tim.
I’ve always had a passion for helping people be the best version of themselves so what better job than coaching, right? — I started coaching and immediately fell in love with it because when you give, you get so much more in return.
To bring out the best out of my clients, I also brought out the best in me.
Knowledge-wise, I currently hold two Bachelor Degrees namely BS Sports Science and BS Nutrition and Dietetics which I chipped on while working freelance to be able to gain simultaneous on-field experience.
The unique combination of the two fields and being a locally Registered-Nutritionist Dietician (RND) on top of various international certifications such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), International Kettlebell Fitness Federation’s Certified Kettlebell Instructor (CKT-1), the Philippines’s first holder of the US-based Precision Nutrition Coaching Certification (Pn-1), and lastly the UK-based Mac-Nutrition Certified Coach (MNU) allows me to legally practice nutrition in all it’s fields (both medical and sports) and have a clear understanding of the unique demands of various sports as my forte.
Experience-wise, I started my coaching journey way back 2012 by working in a “non-traditional” gym as a trainer where I found success in making my clients fitter and stronger but you couldn’t really tell that they were training unless they had a barbell in their hands because at the end of the day they were strong — but still pudgy.
That was until, I switched to nutrition and that’s the turning point where my clients looked good and were actually strong.
The rare blend of knowledge and experience allows me to create a unique practical application of sports nutrition techniques to optimize the fueling, recovery, and performance of athletes as well as unorthodox approaches to weight management and body composition aesthetics.
Up to date I have worked with more than 500 clients and athletes and I’m excited to work with you as well.
